    1. Information We Collect

    We collect information in the following categories:

    • Account Information: Name, email address, and password when you create an account.
    • Organization Information: Organization name, team member details, and role assignments when you create or join a workspace.
    • User-Generated Content: Artwork, projects, design briefs, AI conversation prompts, uploaded images, and vectorization files you create or submit through the platform.
    • Usage Data: Features used, generation counts, vectorization jobs, pages visited, interactions with the platform, and subscription plan activity.
    • Device & Analytics Data: Browser type, operating system, device type, IP address, referring URLs, and general location (country/region level).
    • Billing & Payment Information: When you subscribe to a paid plan or purchase add-on packs, your payment information (credit/debit card details, billing address) is collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe, Inc. We receive and store only a limited subset of billing data from Stripe, including your Stripe customer ID, subscription status, plan type, and invoice history. We do not store your full card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment credentials on our servers.

    2. AI-Generated Content & Data Processing

    PrintCraft AI uses artificial intelligence to generate artwork and process vectorization requests. When you use these features:

    • Prompts & Inputs: Text prompts, design briefs, and uploaded images may be transmitted to third-party AI service providers (such as OpenAI and Vectorizer.AI) for processing. These providers process your data solely to fulfill your request.
    • No Model Training: Your prompts, images, and generated outputs are not used to train AI models. We contractually require the same of our AI service providers.
    • AI Output Storage: Generated artwork, vectorized files, and conversation history are stored in your account for your continued access, subject to your plan's retention limits.
    • Temporary Processing: During active generation or vectorization, your data may be temporarily cached on third-party infrastructure for processing purposes only. This data is automatically purged after processing is complete.

    3. How We Use Your Information

    • To provide, operate, and maintain the PrintCraft AI platform and its features.
    • To process your AI artwork generation and vectorization requests.
    • To manage your account, subscriptions, and billing.
    • To communicate with you about your account, service updates, and (with your consent) promotional materials.
    • To monitor usage for quota enforcement and abuse prevention.
    • To improve and optimize our platform based on aggregated, anonymized usage patterns.
    • To ensure the security and integrity of our platform.

    4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

    We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following categories of service providers, solely for the purposes described:

    • AI & Machine Learning Providers: OpenAI (artwork generation), Vectorizer.AI (image vectorization) — receive prompts and images for processing.
    • Cloud Infrastructure: Supabase (database, authentication, file storage) — stores your account data, projects, and generated files.
    • Payment Processor (Stripe): Stripe, Inc. processes all subscription payments, one-time add-on purchases, invoicing, and refunds. When you enter payment information, it is transmitted directly to Stripe via their secure, PCI-DSS-compliant infrastructure. Stripe may store your payment method details, billing address, and transaction history in accordance with Stripe's Privacy Policy. We receive webhook notifications from Stripe about subscription status changes (e.g., activation, renewal, cancellation, payment failures) which we store for account management and audit purposes.
    • Analytics: Anonymized usage data may be processed by analytics providers to help us understand platform usage.

    We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of PrintCraft AI, our users, or the public.

    5. Data Storage & Security

    • Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit (TLS 1.2+).
    • Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis.
    • We implement industry-standard security measures including access controls, audit logging, and regular security assessments.
    • In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and applicable regulatory authorities as required by law.

    6. Cookies & Tracking

    • Essential Cookies: Required for authentication, session management, and platform functionality. These cannot be disabled.
    • Analytics Cookies: Help us understand how the platform is used. You can control these through your browser settings.

    We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

    7. Your Rights

    You have the right to:

    • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
    • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
    • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data and account. Note that some data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., billing records).
    • Export: Download your projects and generated artwork through your dashboard.
    • Opt-Out: Unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.
    • Account Closure: Close your account through your dashboard settings or by contacting us.

    8. Data Retention

    We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Generated artwork and vectorization outputs are retained according to your plan's storage limits and are deleted upon account closure. Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for analytics purposes.

    Billing records (invoice history, subscription status changes, and payment event logs) are retained for a minimum of seven (7) years as required for tax, accounting, and legal compliance, even after account deletion.

    9. Children's Privacy

    PrintCraft AI is not directed at individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.     10. International Data Transfers

    PrintCraft AI is operated from the United States. If you access the platform from outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the platform, you consent to this transfer. We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place for international data transfers as required by applicable law.

    11. Changes to This Policy

    We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a prominent notice on the platform at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of PrintCraft AI after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
